Christina Egurrola, Intern.
My name is Christina Capone Egurrola, and I am currently a graduate student at Grand Canyon University working towards my master’s degree in Professional Counseling with an Emphasis on Marriage and Family Therapy. As an intern at Infinite Healing and Wellness, my hope is to further cultivate and improve upon my education and therapeutic skills so that I may successfully meet my clients where they are in their personal journey. I do not believe in a “one-size-fits-all” approach to therapy, valuing instead the process of connecting with clients first-hand, understanding their unique needs, and working collaboratively with them to find a resolution that fits within their unique lifestyle.
Life is unpredictable. As a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and a mother of four children, I understand some of the unique challenges many families can face when confronted with stressful and life-altering experiences. Even navigating individual and collective perceptions of shared stressful experiences can sometimes be the most difficult hurdle to overcome. Not knowing how to find resolution can be both overwhelming and debilitating for everyone involved. However, with empathy, open-mindedness, acceptance, and patience, there is a way through the unpredictability and a path towards one’s own strength and resiliency.
Every person’s journey is unique, and every individual should get to choose who can participate in their personal voyage. I would be honored and humbled to work with you, or your family, learning from you and supporting you towards your personal therapeutic goals.
