Davis Shosh, RYT 500 Registered Yoga Teacher, E-RYT 500 Experienced Yoga Registered Yoga Teacher.

Davis has maintained a life-long passion for creating Beauty, Health and Healing for the body and one’s environment. At the age of fourteen Davis was awarded a scholarship to the San Francisco Ballet; performing with various dance companies for the next twenty years. Dancing professionally she incurred several injuries and unexplained pains in her body. This wounding sparked her desire to learn more about the Body-Mind connection. Her healing journey led to studies for the next six years at the Ilana Rubenfeld Center in N.Y.C. and into private practice for the next twelve years as a Body-Centered Psychotherapist in the Rubenfeld Synergy Method. Davis is a Synergist whose teaching style helps the student to deepen their Mind-Body awareness.
Her love of movement led her into ‘Tao Yin Fa, a form of Chi movement created by Fabien Maman, THE Master/ pioneer of ‘Sound Therapy’ and founder of ‘Tama-Do’ (The way of the Soul) The Academy of Sound, Color, light,and Movement where she became a Tama-Do Practitioner learning various energetic healing modalities based in Oriental Medicine.

Davis’s studies and Certifications include various styles of Yoga and Healing Modalities such as a Certified PSYCH-K Facilitator in 2019, Ashtanga Yoga, Yin Yoga, Yoga Nidra, Bikram Yoga, Pilates,Gyrotonic,Space Clearing, Feng Shui (she graduated from the 1st accredited Feng Shui program in the U.S., 'The Metropolitan Institute of Interior Design') in NY. She was certified to teach Bikram Yoga in 2003, and is presently working on her 'Magnetic Mind' Cerification.
After coming full circle back to the Phoenix area she graduated from the ‘Yoga Teacher training’ at SWIHA the ‘Southwest Institute of Healing Arts’. Davis received her ‘Core Integration’ Mat Certification’ from Virginia Nichols of ‘Moving Breath Pilates’. Other teachers with whom she has attended Master classes, workshops and trainings include: Lisa Takamiya, Mary Bruce, Mukunda Stiles, and Rod Stryker of ‘Para Yoga’.

Yoga Deva has been a dream realized, Davis's ultimate passion is that she be a guide to empowerment and liberation in experiencing the light and bliss of our True self. Now the Vision continues with your participation in building our Yoga community together.

Yoga Sessions Offered:

Ashtanga influenced Vinyasa Flow, Yin, Tibetan Yoga, Yoga Nidra - Incorporating Asana (Postures), Pranayama (Breath),Mantra (Sound),Mudra (hand gesture) to facilitate the flow of Prana in the body, The Yoga Sutras (teachings and Practice of Yoga and Theory compiled by Patanjali), Meditation to bring about a state of present centered awareness and higher Consciousness, all of which originate from the Ancient Source of Classical Hatha Yoga.
