EMDR Intensives

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) Intensive is a therapeutic approach that involves an extended period of EMDR therapy over several consecutive days or weeks. It is designed for individuals who have experienced complex trauma or have a history of multiple traumatic events that have not responded well to traditional talk therapy.

During an EMDR intensive, a client will work closely with a trained EMDR therapist to process and reprocess traumatic memories, using a specific set of techniques, including bilateral stimulation (eye movements, tapping, or sounds). The intensive format allows for a more focused and intensive experience, which can lead to faster and more profound healing.

EMDR intensives typically involve several hours of therapy each day, over a period of several consecutive days. The exact duration and frequency of the intensive will vary depending on the individual's needs and goals, as well as the therapist's recommendation.

EMDR intensive can be a challenging experience, but it can also be very transformative, leading to significant improvements in symptoms related to trauma, such as anxiety, depression, and PTSD. It is important to work with a trained EMDR therapist who can guide and support you through the process.
